Due to ever increasing membership numbers and distance to travel, members of the South of England ECT nurse group have decided to divide into two groups. The South West England group and the South East England group. Each group now has the capacity to accept new membership. Contact details for your nearest group are on the ECT Nurse Special Interest Groups page of this website.
Cardiac Services Ltd, suppliers of defibrillators, have agreed to sponsor the 3rd National ECT Nurse Conference, scheduled for 15th September 2010. We are pleased to announce that staff from Cardiac Services will also be included on the programme for the event, demonstrating the use of their defibrillators in a cardiac arrest situation. www.cardiac-services.com
ECT nurse email forum ends

We regret to announce that the ECT nurse email forum has been closed, due to limited use and technical problems with Google and NHS website security.
Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust have agreed to sponsor the 3rd National ECT Nurse Conference. The NALNECT committee would like to thank Pennine Care for their support.
Ian Hulatt, the RCN mental health advisor, has agreed to chair the 3rd National ECT Nurse Conference. Ian, who chaired the previous conference in 2008 and recently appeared in the BBC Horizon programme, has now become an affiliated member of the NALNECT committee.
